Alcohol Retailer & Restaurant/Bar
NJWineSeller is so much more than a liquor store. When it comes to cultivating memorable experiences, NJWineSeller has set itself apart both on a local and state-wide scale. They first opened their doors in 2006 with the belief that customers should feel valued during every part of their shopping experience and should be able to access more brands of wine, liquor, and beer than the normal liquor store can offer. Through extensive research of vineyards, wineries, breweries, and distilleries across the world, NJWineSeller established an inventory that has put them on the map along with unmatched expertise.
They began with a single location in Cranford, New Jersey, in addition to offering their products for sale online. They chose to bring in Nicklaus Marketing and PR when they established a new store in Green Brook, New Jersey that was struggling to gain organic recognition that matched that of their flagship store. Even with their impeccable reputation, what works for one location doesn’t necessarily work for another, even in the same state.
In addition to needing to tackle this problem, the Green Brook location also had a hidden gem – a full bar, with beautiful glasses of wine, an incredible beer selection, and delicious plates for any appetite. But what works for one location doesn’t necessarily work for another, even in the same state.
Nicklaus Marketing tackled this awareness hurdle by taking a hyper-local approach in order to make sure that interest was peaked then reinforced through multiple touchpoints both online and in-person. This strategy included billboards, mailers, flyers, social media ads, social media posts, website consulting, and SEO services. Through getting to know the consumer and buying behavior in Green Brook and treating it as a new entity that carried the old reputation, Nicklaus Marketing was able to help NJWineSeller begin to grow an extensive root system in the local community organically, spreading awareness and communicating the distinct differences between them and other liquor stores. This helped to create a substantial amount of new business and consumer loyalty, with floods of positive reviews coming in on social media platforms and the establishment of an engaged audience. The new Green Brook location has since flourished, taking on a life and community of its own.
